The day we went wasn’t crowded at all and we walked onto pretty much everything with hardly any lineups. Lots of water slides to choose from, two lazy rivers, two large pools and good sized beach areas.
Went here for the first time when my husband and I bought the SeaWorld package last month.wasn’t quite sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised.
As a local this will continue to by my go to spot during the blazing hot months we experience here in the Sunshine State for fun and relaxation.

Currently you can get a free annual pass included with a SeaWorld pass. Buying single day tickets can be much cheaper online than if you were to buy them at the gate. You can usually find good deals on their website.
While each park has it's pros and cons, in my opinion Aquatica is a better overall water park than Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon and just as good if not better than Volcano Bay but more affordable. There's also several rides for family or friends to experience together as well as a large kid's area. Plenty to do whether you're a thrill seeker or just want to relax. Many guests either don't know this or have very little patience and head for the exits calling it a day so once everything reopens you'll practically have the park to yourself making the wait worthwhile.Īll things considered Aquatica is an all around great waterpark that offers a little bit of everything. If it's just a typical afternoon Florida thunderstorm just find shelter and wait it out as these tend to pass by pretty quickly. If a thunderstorm approaches in the area, a common theme during summertime, they'll temporarily close attractions. While there still might be a line to get into Aquatica this way, it'll go by much faster saving you precious time to your day. Instead of waiting in this traffic jam, turn into Sea Harbor Drive as if you were heading to SeaWorld and then make a U-Turn. You can just go park across the street at SeaWorld and walk on over or catch a bus.Īlso during busy season the line to get into Aquatica's parking lot can get extremely backed up into International Drive and cause all kinds of headaches. However, this usually just means the parking lot is closed, not the park itself, as they still allow guests to enter. Another reason to arrive as early as possible during that time of the year is there's always the chance they "close for capacity" for a few hours. I usually arrive around 11:30-12 and I'm able to find one but anything later than that and you might have trouble. On the weekends during Spring break/Summer time you'll want to get here as early as possible to get the best seats by the wave pools in the beach area. Smart strategy with all the competition in the area and the more rides they add the shorter the lines throughout the park should become. They've done a good job keeping this water park fresh adding a new ride each year I've been here and if rumors are true they don't plan on stopping anytime soon with a water coaster on the way. Now going on my 3rd year as an annual pass holder I have some more experience and tips to share. When I first reviewed Aquatica it was all still new to me.
